After taking an extra day to get the store in tip top shape, the area’s newest Barnes & Noble bookstore opened its doors Thursday. It can be found in The Spectrum at Reston Town Center.
B&N had originally announced they were opening on Wednesday, June 14, but then slid that by a day. When the doors finally opened, eager bibliophiles poured into the store to check things out.
We say return because there had been a B&N store in the same shopping center — but a different store space — that closed a decade ago.
The new bookstore features a large selection of books — of course — but also a cafe, vinyl records, gifts, and other items.
