A fast-casual restaurant specializing in açai bowls has signed a deal to open its first Loudoun County locations.
It’s called Rush Bowls and it’s coming to the Brambleton community in Ashburn.
Rush Bowls will be taking the vacant corner unit across the street from the Onelife Fitness center in the Brambleton Town Center. Talk about kismet — a health food purveyor next to a gym.
The local franchisees bringing Rush Bowls to Loudoun are the Allday family who are also the owners of the Hotworx fitness centers in Ashburn and Stone Ridge.
The Rush Bowls brand got its start in Boulder, Colorado back in 2004 and has now expanded to roughly 50 locations open or in the works around the country.
Its specialty is “offering meals crafted from the finest fruit, topped with granola & honey, and blended with protein, vitamins and other nutritious ingredients that taste delicious while promoting a healthy lifestyle,” according to the website.
The menu at Rush Bowls includes bowls, smoothies, and their bites — which are little snack balls made with oats, honey, and other ingredients.
They also offer a Bow Wow Bowl for the pooch in your life. You can see the full Rush Bowls menu here.
Açai bowl outlets are all the rage right now with several new brands open in the region or on their way. See our coverage here.
We’re told the Alldays hope to have their first Rush Bowls location in Brambleton opened by the end of the year — sooner if possible.
