The latest restaurant for a fast-growing local Tex-Mex chain is ready to open its first location in Loudoun County. El Fresco Tex-Mex Grill will officially open next Monday, July 24, but the soft opening is starting this week.
The restaurant is No. 3 in the Northern Virginia-based chain, that also includes stores in Chantilly, Centreville, and another one coming soon in Alexandria.
The new Sterling location is located at 46580 South Cottage Road. That’s in a tiny strip mall just north of Route 7, more or less behind the neighboring Kohl’s department store.
El Fresco is a fast-casual restaurant — meaning you order at a counter and have a seat while your food is prepared. They will also be on the major delivery apps such as DoorDash and Grubhub.
The menu includes tacos, burritos, enchiladas, Mexican pizzas, salads, and even breakfast sandwiches. You can seen El Fresco’s full offerings here.
While the official opening is next Monday, they are starting their soft opening today — Wednesday, July 19 — unlocking their doors quietly and welcoming anyone who might stop by.
