Mystery restaurant taking over former Bungalow Alehouse in Ashburn

Well, that didn’t take long. A new restaurant is headed to Ashburn and it will be taking over the space that was recently vacated by the Bungalow Alehouse.

It was just last month that The Burn reported on the sudden closing of the Bungalow Alehouse after four years in business.

The spot in question is located in the Ashburn Crossroads restaurant center at the intersection of Ashburn Village Boulevard and Farmwell Road.

The center is also home to Fuddruckers, Starbucks, Potbelly, The Halal Guys, Tava Fry and IHOP.

Late last night, new “coming soon” banners were hung on the exterior of the building. The QR code on the banners takes you to a Facebook page that says “Rendezvous Coming Soon.”

That’s all that’s available publicly at the moment. The new operators are purposely trying to have some fun by keeping things vague.

They plan to slow roll details out in the coming weeks to help build excitement — so as we like to say — stay tuned.
