Work underway at new Route 7 Brewing in Ashburn

Exciting news in Ashburn as construction work has gotten underway at the future spot of a new brewery and restaurant called Route 7 Brewing.

Workers were at the site last week with building supplies and heavy equipment rolling in and out of the space.

The Burn first reported on the Route 7 Brewing back in December 2021. It is taking the large end-cap position at the Lexington 7 project, which features big windows and roll-up doors overlooking Route 7.

This is on the north side of the highway, near The Ballpark Loudoun and the Texas Roadhouse restaurant.

The original name was Route 7 Beer Co. but as plans have developed over the intervening months, Route 7 Brewing is now the official name.

Plans call for a large seating area with a long bar running through the space, as well as seating upstairs on a mezzanine overlooking the brewery. There will also be outdoor seating on a large patio.

Other portions of the space will be dedicated to a kitchen and a 10-barrel production brewery.

The folks behind the Route 7 Brewing project say details are still fluid as the buildout of the space gets underway, but they are excited to start producing great beer in Ashburn.

They are aiming to open sometime in 2024.
