First peek inside upcoming Naz’s Halal restaurant in Sterling

The window coverings have come down at the upcoming Naz’s Halal eatery in Sterling giving passers-by their first peek inside the new fast casual restaurant.

Back in February, The Burn first told readers about the growing Naz’s Halal chain and its plans for its first Loudoun County location.

It’s coming to the Countryside Marketplace shopping center, just off Route 7 in Sterling.

The restaurant specializes in rice platters featuring chicken, lamb, falafel and even fried fish.

There are sandwiches on the menu including a Philly cheesesteak, burgers and a spicy chicken sandwich. There are also gyros, wings, cheese fries and more.

Most of the New York-based company’s outlets are here on the east coast — stretching from Virginia and the DMV up to Rhode Island. There’s also a lone outpost in the Los Angeles area.

No word yet when the Sterling location will open, but it appears they are getting close. We have messages in to the Naz’s Halal headquarters for more details.
