New in NoVa: Dave’s Hot Chicken opens in Tysons

The eagerly anticipated Dave’s Hot Chicken restaurant has officially opened its doors to rave reviews in the Tysons Corner area. It’s the first location in Virginia for the fast-growing chain.

“We had the sliders, tenders, cheese fries and macaroni and cheese and it was all delicious,” wrote Kirstin B. in a review on Yelp.

Dave’s is located at 8397 Leesburg Pike, Suite 35. The 2,400 s.f. restaurant is in the end cap position of the same center that is home to a Lidl grocery store, a DSW shoe store, and a TJ Maxx department store.

As we reported back in June, the Dave’s Hot Chicken brand got its start in 2017 in East Hollywood, California. Word of mouth quickly spread over its chicken sandwiches and tenders and the various spice levels available for customers to choose from.

Those levels range from No Spice (which actually is still a flavor) and climb until they reach “The Reaper.” Here’s a look at the menu below.

Currently, there are more than 150 Dave’s locations open or in the works, according to the company’s website. Those locations stretch around the country as well as overseas.
