The Zone — a kids’ entertainment venue and sports bar in Ashburn — has announced a sudden closure effective immediately citing an “unforeseen emergency.”
The news came via a message posted to The Zone’s social media on Tuesday. “We are temporarily closed,” it read in part. “The Zone will be closed until further notice. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to serving you again soon.”
The Zone opened at Loudoun Station off Shellhorn Road back in 2014. The venue cleverly mixed kids party activities like laser tag, video games, and bowling with a sports bar and restaurant that all ages could enjoy.
