The new Marshalls department store coming to Sterling has announced its opening date. According to signs on the front windows, the big day is next week — Thursday, September 21.
The more than 30,000 s.f. store can be found in the Dulles Town Crossing shopping plaza at the intersection of Nokes Boulevard and Atlantic Boulevard on the east side of Atlantic.
Marshalls has taken over a space previously occupied by a Value City Furniture store. The interior is already full of shelves and displays and merchandise that the store’s team is in the process of setting up.
The current Marshalls store is over in the Cascades Marketplace shopping center. That location will be closing when the store transitions to the new space next week.
Dulles Town Crossing has been on a roll lately with several major new tenants. Raising Cane’s opened its first Northern Virginia location there late last year.
Since then, several other new tenants have been announced, including the upcoming Bob’s Discount Furniture and a new location for the Cha Street Food brand, plus an Aqua Tots Swim School, which is currently under construction.
