Big news for folks looking forward to the new Rai’s Rendezvous restaurant headed to Ashburn. The owners have given us a sneak peek at their debut menu — and they’ve announced a target grand opening date.
If all stays on track, the opening will happen next week — Friday, October 20.
Rai’s is coming to the Ashburn Crossroads center at the corner of Farmwell Road and Ashburn Village Boulevard. That’s the same center with Fuddrucker’s, IHOP, Starbucks, and Potbelly.
The restaurant has taken over the space vacated earlier this year by the Bungalow Alehouse.
The folks behind Rai’s are part of the same restaurant group that also owns and operates Rai’s Pour House and Rai’s Pizza in Sterling and the Rai’s Pizza location in Ashburn.
On the new menu designed by Executive Chef John Iatrellis, you will find a focus on small plates meant to be shared — such as Lobster Deviled Eggs, a Fried Halloumi served with apples, pomegranate, and honey, and a Grilled Bavette Steak with a cherry pepper chimichurri.
Large plates include a Sesame Crusted Tuna and a Short Rib Pappardelle. You can see the full Rai’s Rendezvous menu below.
