Paul Tomaselli: My Burger Sports Bar opens in Chantilly

Local foodies on social media may have encountered posts from Paul Tomaselli, an enthusiastic food promoter who hits all the big (and small) restaurant openings and events around Northern Virginia. Tomaselli will be sharing some of his culinary adventures in an occasional  guest column here on The Burn.

A new burger joint and sports bar has opened along Route 50 in Chantilly — right next door to another new restaurant that also recently opened.

My Burger Sports Bar has come to the Chantilly Park Shopping Center — just a couple of traffic lights from the Route 50/Route 28 intersection.

That’s the same shopping plaza where Los Carnales Tex-Mex Grill just recently opened.

My Burger really leans into its name. The menu at the sports bar features at least 18 different burger combinations with all kinds of toppings.

We decided to try the Double Decker Burger, which includes a beef patty, cheesesteak, bacon, provolone cheese, basil, and spinach topped with marinara sauce. It was delish and definitely hit the spot. The fries that accompanied it were nice and crispy.

Future burgers we want to try include the Alpine Burger which comes with raclette cheese and apple butter; and the Chesapeake Crab Burger which uses crab mac and cheese with Old Bay mayonnaise.

They’ve also got wings as well as fries, onion rings, and mac and cheese. The full menu is below, so check it out and make sure you give these guys a try.
