Ramona Empanadas launches Tuesday in Leesburg, Sterling

A string of new empanadas shops is starting to arrive in Northern Virginia this week. It’s called Ramona Empanadas and its first two locations will be found in Sterling and Leesburg.

The Burn first told you about Ramona Empanadas back in October. The new concept is coming from the same folks who own and operate the Señor Ramon Taqueria restaurants in the region.

Starting Tuesday, an ordering kiosk will be available inside the Señor Ramon locations in downtown Leesburg, and in Sterling at 22455 Davis Drive. Customers can place their carry out order for empanadas from the screen.

Ramona Empanadas will launch at three more locations next week — the Señor Ramon headquarters found at 506 Shaw Road in Sterling, as well as the Señor Ramon restaurants in Chantilly and Reston.
