Sneak Peek: Paris Baguette opens Thursday morning in Herndon

The Paris Baguette in Herndon is ready for primetime — and morning time too. The new bakery and restaurant will open its doors to the public Thursday morning, November 30.

The Burn was invited to a sneak preview Wednesday evening to check out the new store in the Arrowbrook Centre just south of 267 at Exit 10.

The bakery’s shelves were filled with pastries both savory and sweet — and staff was getting some last minute hands-on training.

When customers arrive at Paris Baguette, they are invited to take a tray, place a paper covering on it and then grab a pair of tongs. They then meander down the main aisle with displays cases on either side and make their selections.

We sampled a 3-Cheese Pesto Pizzetta, a Ham & Cheese Croissant, and a custard filled Croissant Donut, We topped it off with an Iced Caramel Latte. (The Burn is not known for its restraint.)

You check out at a counter where you can also place orders for coffees, teas, and other beverages.

Prior to tomorrow’s opening in Herndon, the nearest Paris Baguette locations have been in Fairfax and in Centreville. The brand is part of a South Korean-based chain with more than 3,000 locations overseas and roughly 100 stores in the United States.

As The Burn has reported, another Paris Baguette is under construction at the Bram Quarter development in Ashburn. That bakery is expected to open sometime in early 2024.
