Today — Monday, December 4 — is National Cookie Day — and to celebrate, a new gourmet cookie shop has officially opened its doors in Ashburn.
It’s the latest location for Moltn Cookies, a new brand based here in the DC market.
The Burn first told you about Moltn coming to Loudoun back in September. The opening date got delayed several times, but now, they are ready for business.
Moltn is embracing the ghost kitchen concept — where they basically piggy-back off an existing restaurant and use the facilities there to bake and sell their cookies.
In Ashburn’s case, the Moltn Cookies location is inside Eataliano, a small pizza and pasta restaurant in the Broadlands Village Center. That’s at the intersection of Broadlands Boulevard and Claiborne Parkway.
Cookie flavors on the Moltn menu include Reese’s Peanut Butter, Cookies & Cream, Oatmeal Raisin, and Triple Chocolate. You can see the shop’s menu here.
This is the third location for Moltn Cookies. They also have ghost kitchen outlets in the District and in Arlington.
Moltn has online ordering so your cookies can be ready for you to pick up. They are also expected to add delivery options.
