Fast-casual Dig reportedly looking at spot at One Loudoun

It looks like Loudoun County has another new restaurant headed our way. The New York-based fast-casual restaurant Dig is reportedly in the works for a spot at One Loudoun.

The Burn has learned that Dig is looking at the former Zoe’s Kitchen spot, which is just a few doors down from Trader Joe’s. Zoe’s closed its doors at OL back in January.

Per the company’s website, Dig specializes in “healthy fast-casual bowls, salads, and comfort food.”

Its menu includes the Classic Dig, which is charred chicken, roasted sweet potatoes, charred broccoli with lemon, brown rice, and garlic aioli on the side.

Another dish is the Maple Cider Chicken, which includes charred chicken with maple cider glaze, golden Brussels, kale apple crunch and spiced farro.

They have a build-your-own-bowl option and sides include Sheet Tray Carrots, Roasted Sweet Potatoes, and Jasper Hill Mac & Cheese. You can see the full Dig menu here.

Dig has more than 30 locations, most of them in Manhattan. The brand has started branching out to other cities and it opened its first location in the DC market  — in Georgetown — this past spring.

No word yet on whether the One Loudoun deal is finalized yet or not — nor when Dig might open. We’ll try to get more information and report back what we find out.
