Rai’s Rendezvous opened in Ashburn in October and quickly won rave reviews for its unique and creative menu items. Now that the dust has settled, Rai’s has released an updated menu featuring a slew of new dishes.
The biggest addition is a line-up of new pizzas and handheld sandwiches. The pizzas are mini bar-style pizzas and include the Short Rib-zaa with short rib, a squash puree, mozzarella, and shallots.
The new handhelds include a Double Smash-Burger and the Willow Sandoo with pastrami, slaw, swiss cheese, and a house sauce.
There’s also the Arayes Burgers, which are not really burgers at all. It’s a sirloin, brisket and chuck blend stuffed in a pita, then grilled and served with a harissa aioli dipping sauce.
Rai’s Rendezvous took over the former Bungalow Alehouse spot at the Ashburn Crossroads retail center. That’s the spot often referred to as Pipeline Plaza at the corner of Ashburn Village Boulevard and Farmwell Road.
