Sign installed at Crafted craft beer, glassblowing in Ashburn

A unique new art studio and beer store is getting closer to its opening day. The sign has gone up at Crafted at its new location in the heart of Old Ashburn.

Crafted bills itself as a beer and wine bistro as well as a “glass studio.” Yes — glass — as in the art of glass blowing.

The Burn first reported on Crafted back in April when we learned they had leased the former Honey Bee Creamery space. That’s in the small strip mall at 20693 Ashburn Road.

Plans have called for them to move their craft beer store and glass blowing studio from its original location in Haymarket to Ashburn. Now, they are getting close.

Crafted will feature a large selection of craft beers for sale. It will also have wines and there will be tastings onsite. As part of that, they will also serve a small bistro style menu. That menu is still being developed.

Meanwhile, they will also offer demonstrations and classes in glass blowing. Plus, much of the glass art that they create will be offered for sale in the studio as well.

While the sign has gone up, they still have a number of other steps to complete before they can open. They hope to be ready to fire up the torches and welcome guests in early 2024.
