A burgeoning restaurant brand called Nash & Smash has its eyes on at least three Northern Virginia locations — including in Ashburn and Herndon.
Nash & Smash appears to be a brand new concept. It bills itself as the “ultimate destination for fried chicken, Nashville-style sandwiches, smashed burgers, and more.”
According to the company’s website — they are planning stores in Ashburn, Herndon, and Manassas here in Northern Virginia. They also have multiple locations in the works in Maryland.
The three flagship stores will be in Manassas, Silver Spring, and Baltimore and they hope to open 10 stores in 2024.
The locations for the Ashburn and Herndon stores haven’t been announced yet — which means they may still searching for the right spots. The commercial real estate team at Rappaport appears to be aiding in the search.
Nash & Smash also has a partnership with several other restaurant brands including Peri-Peri Original, a peri-peri chicken chain with two locations in Loudoun County.
They also are affiliated with Kallisto Steakhouse and Spice Village — both of which have locations in Herndon.
While Nash & Smash will be opening its own independent stores, you may also see some of their menu items available at these partner restaurant.s
