The Zone will not be returning to Loudoun Station

More sad news for fans of The Zone, the family entertainment center in Ashburn’s Loudoun Station development. A rep has confirmed the shuttered facility will not be reopening.

It was last September when the laser tag-aracde-bowling alley facility closed down after the sudden passing of The Zone’s founder and owner, Kamal Gill.

At the time, the future of the center was left in limbo — with the possibility of staff or others reopening it. But we’re told that’s not happening now.

The space is actively being marketed to new tenants by the landlord.

And it’s certainly possible that a similar entertainment concept could take over the space. It would make sense with all the attractions already built into the site. But so far, no word of any deals in the works.
