Chantilly getting a new Naz’s Halal location

The fast-growing Naz’s Halal restaurant chain — which first moved into Northern Virginia last year — is working on its third location. The latest spot is in Chantilly off of Highway 50.

The Burn has learned that Naz’s Halal has signed a lease for a 2,000 s.f. space in the Sully Square retail center. That’s at the intersection of Centreville Road and Metrotech Drive, just a block north of 50.

Back in 2009, two New Yorkers started Naz’s Halal as a food truck. It has since grown to include 30+ brick-and-mortar locations open or in the works on the east coast, plus at least one location in the Los Angeles area.

Naz’s came into NoVa last summer with a location in Manassas and then opened its first Loudoun County location in Sterling last September.

The menu at Naz’s specializes in rice platters and gyros with lamb, chicken, fish, falafel, or kofta kabab. There also have burgers, chicken sandwiches, Philly cheesesteaks, and chicken wings.
