New sushi restaurant headed to Loudoun shopping center

A Fairfax-based Japanese sushi restaurant is reportedly expanding and will be bringing a new location to Loudoun County. The restaurant is called Sushi Cho.

It looks like Sushi Cho is taking the end cap unit at the Dulles 28 Centre in Sterling that was just recently vacated by Cubasi Bistro, which is in the process of moving to a new location in Ashburn.

Dulles 28 is the shopping center with a Pei Wei Asian Kitchen, an Old Navy, a DSW, and other restaurants and stores. It’s located next to the Wegmans and Target stores at the intersection of Waxpool Road and Pacific Boulevard.

According to its website, Sushi Cho currently has one location on Fairfax Boulevard in Fairfax.

The menu at Sushi Cho features appetizers such as Shumai, which are steamed Japanese crab and shrimp dumplings; Seared Salmon Belly; TNT Mussels; and Tako Wasabi, which is raw octopus flavored with wasabi.

Of course, there is sushi and sashimi in all its incarnations, and the menu also has teriyaki dishes, tempura dishes, noodle dishes and more. You can see the full Sushi Cho menu here.

The deal is new so no word yet on when Sushi Cho will open in Sterling. We’ll keep you posted.
