Loudoun County’s first Bob’s Discount Furniture store is getting ready to open. The large sign has gone up over the entranceway, and we now know the target opening date.
According to a spokesperson for the national chain, they plan to open the new store on Friday, May 24.
As The Burn first reported last August, the Bob’s store is coming to the Dulles Eastern Plaza. This is the retail center with the new Marshalls store, the Best Buy, the World Market, and the Chili’s Grill & Bar.
Bob’s has taken over the 35,000 s.f. space that was previously a Bed, Bath & Beyond store.
On opening day, there will be a ribbon cutting ceremony and check presentations to local charities.
The Bob’s brand is based in Connecticut and was launched more than 30 years ago. Today, they have roughly 170 stores in two dozen states spread across the country.
