Fast-casual Dig taking spot at One Loudoun

It looks like Loudoun County has another new restaurant headed our way. The New York-based fast-casual restaurant Dig is taking a spot at One Loudoun.

The Burn has learned that Dig will move into the former Zoe’s Kitchen spot, which is just a few doors down from Trader Joe’s. Zoe’s closed its doors at OL back in January.

Per the company’s website, Dig specializes in “healthy fast-casual bowls, salads, and comfort food.”

Its menu includes the Classic Dig, which is charred chicken, roasted sweet potatoes, charred broccoli with lemon, brown rice, and garlic aioli on the side.

Another dish is the Maple Cider Chicken, which includes charred chicken with maple cider glaze, golden Brussels, kale apple crunch and spiced farro.

They have a build-your-own-bowl option and sides include Sheet Tray Carrots, Roasted Sweet Potatoes, and Jasper Hill Mac & Cheese. You can see the full Dig menu here.

Dig has more than 30 locations, most of them in Manhattan. The brand has started branching out to other cities and it opened its first location in the DC market  — in Georgetown — this past spring.

No word yet on when Dig might open at One Loudoun might open. The deal is brand new at this point.
