Ra Sushi, a national sushi chain restaurant, has opened a ghost kitchen here in Loudoun County. A ghost kitchen means that it doesn’t have its own restaurant with a dining room and bar, but rather it operates out of another restaurant’s kitchen, or out of a commercial kitchen.
Ra Sushi is working out of the Benihana Japanese Restaurant over by the Dulles Town Center shopping mall. Ra, which appears to have roughly 20 stand-alone locations, is a sister restaurant to Benihana, with the same ownership. So it would be an easy step to add the Ra Sushi menu to a Benihana location and increase sales — something many restaurants have been doing during the pandemic. The Ra menu features a variety of sushi rolls and sashimi, as well as appetizers, salads, soups (including “Ra”men) and more. You can see the Ra Sushi menu here. Ra is available for carry out and delivery, including delivery with services such as DoorDash and Grubhub.
Lies…ordered from them on Uber eats, got charged for it and everything, an hour went by and I realized my order status hadnt updated from “preparing” I called the number that’s on google and the line was dead. Turns out they were closed, this was on a regular weekday at around 5pm. I called Uber and they did inform that other customers had run into the same problem and they just weren’t opened for business. So y’all are totally right about one things…it’s a Ghosh business for sure…as in…dead..nonexistent.
