New Crumbl Cookies location in the works for Ashburn

This will be the second Crumbl Cookies location in Loudoun. The first one is under construction in Leesburg.

A second Crumbl Cookies location is in the works for Loudoun County. This time Ashburn is the lucky community to get one of these fast-growing sweet shops. The new Crumbl store is in the works for the Ashburn Village Shopping Center.

As regular readers of The Burn know, it was recently announced that Leesburg was getting a Crumbl Cookies. That store is going into a space near the Target and Costco on Edwards Ferry Road. It will be tucked in between the Panda Express and Potbelly restaurants. You can see our original report here.

Now comes word about the Ashburn Crumbl location. It going into a space in the shopping center that used to be home to the Kickers martial arts studio. That’s between the Hallmark store and the El Rey Tolteca Mexican restaurant.

Crumbl Cookies got its start in Utah in 2017 and now has roughly 150 locations in 28 states. The concept features two staple cookies that are always on the menu — a warm chocolate chip cookie and a chilled sugar cookie. Then they have a line-up of another 120+ types of cookies that constantly rotate with different ones offered each week. Recent flavors include Pink Velvet, Strawberry Poptart and Reese’s Cup. A variety of ice cream flavors is also on the menu. The new Ashburn Crumbl will offer catering as well as curbside service and delivery. The owners are targeting a late May/early June opening.
