Bubble tea shop starts soft opening in South Riding today

Kokee Tea is open for business. The new bubble tea shop in the South Riding/Chantilly area of southern Loudoun County is starting a soft opening at 1 p.m. today — Monday, October 31.

It was just last Friday that The Burn gave you a sneak peek inside the new tea shop, which is located in the Whitman Farm retail center at the intersection of Braddock Road and Gum Spring Road.

Now, they’ve passed all their inspections and are ready to start welcoming customers.

The new Kokee — which specializes in fruit teas, milk teas, blended ice teas and more — is the first location in Loudoun County for the fast growing brand.

They have roughly 30 stores opens or in the works in an arc across the Southeast running for Maryland, down to Virginia, George, Alabama and over to Texas. Until today, the closet to Loudoun has been a Kokee Tea at Fair Oaks Mall in Fairfax County.
