Double X Archery — an archery supply store and indoor archery range — has settled on a spot for its new location. The Double X team has announced they are coming to the Leesburg Plaza shopping center.
That’s the large retail center along Market Street that is also home to a Giant grocery store, a Party City store, a Planet Fitness and the Spanky’s Shenanigans pub, among many other businesses.
Double X will be moving into a 5,500 s.f. portion of the building that used to be home to Pier One Imports before that brand closed nationwide in 2020. Part of the building was recently turned into a dentist’s office, and Double X is going in next door.
Double X sells bow and arrows as well as crossbows, targets, parts and other archery accoutrements. They will also offer services such as bow tuning, arrow fletching, restringing, and other repairs.
There will be an onsite range in the space where people can practice target shooting and Double X will also offer archery lessons.
No official date yet for an opening, but the Double X team says they hope to be open in six to eight weeks.
With the news of Double X Archery coming to Leesburg Plaza and the recent announcement that a Hangry Joe’s Hot Chicken sandwich restaurant is coming there as well, it appears that the entire shopping center — all 38 storefronts — is currently leased.
