Nautical Bowls selects second Loudoun location

Nautical Bowls, a fast-growing chain specializing in açai bowls, now has not one, but two restaurants in the works for Loudoun County.

A couple of weeks back, The Burn reported that Nautical Bowls had signed a deal for a spot in the Lansdowne Town Center. It’s going into the space vacated by Qwench Juice Bar.

Now, we have learned that Nautical Bowls is also working on a new store in Sterling.

The brand is taking a space in the Dulles 28 Centre shopping plaza. That’s the center with Wegmans and Target as neighbors near the intersection of Waxpool Road and State Road 28.

Nautical Bowls will move into a roughly 1,200 s.f. space next door to Chipotle that was previously a barbershop and — before that — a GNC store.

At Nautical Bowls, customers choose a base such as açai, mango or pitaya, then top it with a variety of toppings such as pumpkin seeds, goji berries, granola, or banana. You can see the full Nautical Bowls menu here.

Nautical Bowls will be competing with establishments such as Robeks, South Block in One Loudoun, and the upcoming Rush Bowls, which is also close to finalizing a deal in the county.

Construction on the new Sterling Nautical Bowls hasn’t started yet, so an opening isn’t imminent. We’ll keep you posted.
