Construction begins on large X-Golf facility in Ashburn

Work has begun on the new X-Golf indoor golf facility opening in Ashburn. It’s taking a large, 7,000 s.f. space in the Broadlands Village Center.

That’s the Aldi and LA Fitness anchored center at Broadlands Boulevard and Claiborne Parkway.

Recently, the concrete floor was cut open to allow new utility lines to be placed under the floor.

Once that work is done, the space will be decked out in X-Golf’s decor, equipment and furniture. If it follows a typical pattern, next will come the hiring and training of staff and then opening day.

X-Golf in Ashburn will reportedly feature seven golf simulators where players can practice their skills or just play a round with friends on simulated golf courses from around the world

There will also be a small putting green for working on your skills on the greens and a bar with seating for approximately 16 people.

As The Burn reported when it broke the X-Golf news back in March, the brand got its start in Michigan in 2016 and now has more than 100 locations open or in the works across the country.

There’s one location so far in Virginia — in the Richmond area. Several others are planned for elsewhere around the commonwealth.
