The QUI Korean BBQ in South Riding starts soft opening Tuesday

UPDATE: The QUI Korean BBQ & Bar in South Riding has decided to postpone their soft opening until tomorrow, Tuesday, September 12. They had originally announced the opening was today, Monday, but by late afternoon, they had changed it to Tuesday. Hopefully, with another 24 hours, they will be good to go.

The flood of new Korean BBQ restauants into Loudoun County continues with the soft opening today of The QUI Korean BBQ & Bar in the South Riding area.

The restaurant has announced on social media that they will be open for dinner starting at 4:30 this afternoon.

It was more than a year ago that The Burn first reported that a Korean BBQ restaurant was coming to the site in the Gum Spring Village Center. It’s located in the same building as the popular Mex-Mart & Deli.

According to the brand’s website, this is the third location for The QUI. They also have one a few miles down the road in Chantilly, and another one in Fairfax.

Like any good Korean BBQ restaurant, the tables where customers dine are equipped with grills. Guests order a variety of meats and proteins that they then cook themselves on the tabletop.

This includes Prime Ribeye, Lamb Chops, Lobster, Pork Belly, Brisket, Butter Chicken, and Spicy Baby Octopus. You can see the full menu for The QUI Korean BBQ & Bar at the bottom of this story.

In the meanwhile, as we’ve reported, The QUI is opening a sister retail shop immediately next door. It’s called The Meat and will be a full-service butcher shop. No word yet on when The Meat will be ready to open.
