Peter Chang switches gears at Herndon’s Arrowbrook Centre

Back in May, The Burn broke the news that well-known chef and restaurateur Peter Chang was bringing one of his restaurants to Herndon. Now, we’ve got an update to that story.

Originally, the developers of the Arrowbrook Centre in Herndon announced that Chang would be opening a casual Chinese restaurant called Mama Chang. Indeed, online documents still show the 3,500 s.f. space as being the future home of a Mama Chang.

But this week, a representative for Peter Chang reached out to let us know the concept coming to Arrowbrook has been changed.

Instead of Mama Chang, the Herndon location will be one of Chang’s other concepts. Besides Mama Chang, other brands in the family include an eponymous Peter Chang restaurant, Q by Peter Chang, Chang Chang, and NiHao.

Other businesses slated to be Chang’s neighbors at Arrowbrook include Herndon’s first Paris Baguette restaurant, an Ornery Beer Company Public House, and a Hello2India grocery store.
