A Washington DC-based gourmet grocer and sandwich shop that specializes in locally produced products is headed to a spot at Dulles International Airport.
A wall is up with signage for a new location for Union Kitchen in Terminal D. Behind the wall, construction on the new eatery is likely underway.
According to the Union Kitchen website, the brand currently has four locations in the District plus one in Arlington.
Union Kitchen is part neighborhood market and part restaurant with sandwiches, bowls, and salads available. The model at Dulles International will focus on grab-and-go items, ideal for the traveling public.
Union Kitchen is just the latest in a major refresh of food and retail offerings at Dulles. Other newcomers open or on the way include Urban Crave, South Block, Ben’s Chili Bowl, and Rusty Taco.
