Cookie lovers, mark May 6 in your calendars. That’s when the new Crumbl Cookies is scheduled to hold its grand opening in Leesburg. The new sign was just mounted over the door.
The Burn first broke the news about Crumbl coming to Loudoun back in January. The fast-growing chain is opening its first local location off Edwards Ferry Road in Leesburg, in front of the Target and Kohl’s stores. It’s tucked in between a Potbelly Sandwich Shop and a Panda Express Chinese Kitchen.
Crumbl Cookies launched in 2017 and now has roughly 150 locations in 28 states. Every day, Crumbl features two staple cookies that are always on the menu — a warm chocolate chip cookie and a chilled sugar cookie. Then they have another 120+ types of cookies in their cookbook, with different ones offered each week. Ice cream is also on the menu.
Besides the Leesburg store, a second Crumbl Cookies location is the works for Ashburn. (See our story here.) It will open later this year in the Ashburn Village Shopping Center off Gloucester Parkway.
