Hangry Joe’s Hot Chicken opens its doors in Sterling

Two down, one more to go. Loudoun County’s second Hangry Joe’s Hot Chicken restaurant is officially open for business.

The newest spot for the Nashville-style hot chicken sandwich brand is at the Town Center at Sterling shopping plaza. That’s at Route 7 and Dranesville Road.

The Burn first told you about the plans for a Hangry Joe’s there last November. It took over a space that had previously been a Subway sandwich shop.

We said “two down, one to go” because three Hangry Joe’s locations in Loudoun were announced almost simultaneously late last year. And they are all coming on line now.

The Leesburg location at the Leesburg Plaza was the first to open. We told you about that back in May.

Now, the Sterling store is open and the Ashburn store should be next. It’s coming to the Cameron Chase Village Center plaza.

That’s near the intersection of Farmwell Road and Smith Switch Road. We’ve peeked in the windows and it looks like they are getting close. An opening appears to be imminent.

The brand continues to expand rapidly around the country after launching in the Richmond area back in 2021. There are already multiple Hangry Joe’s locations open here in Northern Virginia.
