Mark your calendars. A giant new escape room called The Great Xcape is ready to open its doors at the Dulles Town Center mall. They have announced the grand opening will be Saturday, August 26.
Last November, we reported on how The Great Xcape was taking over a huge, 20,000 s.f. vacant space on the upper level of the mall.
And in April of this year, we shared a sneak preview of some of the different themed rooms that will be part of the facility. This includes an “Alice in Wonderland” room, a “Time Machine” room, and a room reminiscent of “Game of Thrones” called “Game of Stones.”
There are five different escape rooms in total at The Great Xcape, each able to accommodate groups of up to 10 people. Rooms take roughly 60 minutes to complete.
There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony at 11:30 a.m. on August 26, with food and giveaways. The first 50 guests will each get one free ticket per family to The Great Xcape. The entertainment venue will officially open to the public that day at 3 p.m.
