Cascades Marketplace in Sterling gets a fresh, new look

Regular readers know that we have been reporting on some significant changes coming to the Cascades Marketplace shopping center in Sterling. Now, it’s getting a facelift too.

Crews have been busy repainting much of the center, covering the dark brick facades in softer tones. The work extends to accent features like columns and gates as well.

Places such as Robeks and Starbucks look nice and tidy now, and we’re told they are also painting many of the sloped metal rooftops on stores.

The center’s management company has already announced two new high profile restaurant tenants — Shake Shack and CHIKO — will be coming in the future. Plus, The Burn has learned that Taco Bamba is also looking at a spot in the center.

Future changes that are in the plans include the demolition of some older retail units and the addition of residential housing.
