A new fast casual restaurant called Taim Mediterranean Kitchen quietly opened for business last month in Reston. It’s located in the Plaza America retail center off Sunset Hills Road.
Taim is part of a small, but growing east coast chain. It currently has nearly 20 locations between the NYC area and the DC market.
The Burn first reported on Taim opening a Reston location back in April 2023. It’s taken a spot tucked in next to the also new Maizal, a South American street food restaurant.
Taim has a menu reminiscent of other Mediterranean fast casuals such as Cava and Mezeh. Customers start by choosing a bowl, a pita, or a salad and then fill it with things like Roasted Meatballs, Cauliflower Shawarma, and Golden Eggplant.
Toppings include ingredients such as marinated tomatoes, pickled onions, seasoned chickpeas, and crispy shallots. You can check out the full Taim menu here.
