Wow. We’ve seen rock climbing walls before, but we haven’t seen climbing walls quite like this. We’re talking about new photos released this week from the Up Ashburn Family Climbing Gym.
So far, the elaborate walls appear to feature Japanese- and Egyptian-themed designs on them. And this is just a first glimpse of the new facility being built at the Lexington 7 property along Riverside Parkway on the north side of Route 7.
The Burn first broke the news about Up Ashburn nearly two years ago — back in February 2022. Construction work really got going in 2023 as we reported this past November.
Now, we’re getting a look at what the new entertainment venue will look like.
The climbing structures are being built by Adventure Solutions, a leading creator of climbing walls, ziplines, warrior courses, and more.
No word yet on when Up Ashburn will be ready to open its doors to the public, but it’s great to see the progress they’re making so far.
