The big day is almost here for fans of the Honey Pig BBQ brand. The chain’s latest restaurant is ready to open in Ashburn.
We stopped in at the restaurant today where managers told us they will be holding their grand opening this Saturday, January 20.
The Burn first broke the news about Honey Pig coming to the Ashburn Farm Market Center last March. It’s the latest location for the brand that has roughly 10 locations — both here in the DC area and in Texas.
Like most Korean BBQ joints, the tables at Honey Pig feature grills in the middle where customers cook their own meats such as pork belly, beef brisket, chicken, octopus, and more.
Honey Pig is the latest in a string of Korean BBQ places to open in Loudoun, including Gogi 92 at the Village at Leesburg, The Qui in the South Riding area, and Kiwa Korean Grill in Sterling.
At least two more similar restaurants are in the works including Oseyo in Lansdowne and Khan Korean in Sterling.
