New Italian restaurant coming to Ashburn’s Flagship Commons

It’s the first tenant to sign on to the new center next to the future Flagship Car Wash.

A new Italian restaurant is the first tenant to sign on to the new Flagship Commons center, under construction as part of the huge Flagship Car Wash project across the street from One Loudoun. The new restaurant will be called Corso 63 Wood Fired Pizza & Kitchen.

Construction is well underway on the enormous car wash building going up on the east side of Loudoun County Parkway. As The Burn has reported, Flagship will be highly automated, featuring robots cleaning much of the customere’s vehicles. You can see our walk-through of the future car wash here.

Meanwhile, as part of the project, there will be a small retail center on the property as well. The first official tenant is Corso 63. We are told the menu will feature traditional Italian favorites. There will be waiter service, but also a counter for quick orders and carry out, and catering will also be offered. The Flagship project is going up just north of Russell Branch Parkway, next door to the Sunoco station/A-Plus convenience store. No word yet on a timeline for opening — it will be a while, as the retail building hasn’t gone up yet.
