An upscale Peruvian gastrobar with locations in DC and Florida is reportedly headed to the Reston Town Center. Pisco y Nazca Ceviche Gastrobar is taking over the former Vapiano restaurant space, according to the Washington Business Journal.
Pisco y Nazca opened a location several years ago at Dupont Circle in DC. The brand also has locations in Miami and Doral, Florida.
“Pisco y Nazca Ceviche Gastrobar offers a modern twist on traditional Peruvian cuisine with savory, innovative dishes and unique cocktails,” the company’s website reads. “With a selection of seasonal and signature dishes including Pulled Pork Tostones, Lomo Saltado and a variety of Ceviches, Pisco Y Nazca invites guests on a culinary journey through the senses with every bite.”
Besides unique dishes, the restaurant also specializes in piscos, a popular type of Peruvian cocktail made with egg whites.
Pisco y Nazca offers three variations including a Traditional pisco, a Passion pisco made with passion fruit puree and a Chicha pisco, made with chicha morada, a Peruvian beverage made with purple corn and fruit. You can check out the full menu for the DC location here.
The news about Pisco y Nazca is just the latest of several new restaurant announcements at the Reston Town Center, including an upcoming Fogo de Chão location and a new distillery and restaurant called The Distillery.
