A new business has opened in the Shops at Compass Creek retail development next to the Leesburg Walmart store. It’s a Sunoco gas station coupled with an A-Plus convenience store.
The gas station and c-store are part of several new commercial buildings going up along Compass Creek Parkway, that will include a slew of new restaurants.
Just to the north of the gas station, passersby will see two buildings that are the future home of Buffalo Wing Factory, Bruster’s Real Ice Cream and Mezeh Mediterranean Grill.
On the next block over, three fast-food restaurants are under construction. These will include a Starbucks, a Popeyes and a Chipotle with the county’s first “Chipotlane,” or drive-thru pick-up lane.
A hotel, additional commercial space and possibly another drive-thru restaurant are still in the offing but no official details on any of them yet.
Compass Creek is anchored by the Walmart store as well as the At Home home decor store and the ION International Training Center, an ice skating facility.
